Over the last couple of years, Guitar Coach’s unique video has
been singled for particular praise by thousands of users and
in many reviews. We always try to give the angle that will show
the most detail, however difficult it is to achieve. There are
broadly 3 types of shot to choose from:
 |
Shot 1
This type of shot shows strum hand on the right and
fret hand on the left. Both hands are seen from your viewpoint
so it’s easy to compare what you play to how it’s played
in the video. The controls on the video are ‘Play’, ‘Video
Slider’ (to position the video wherever you want) ‘Slow
Motion’ and finally ‘Full Screen’.

 |
Shot 2
If the strum hand is doing something complicated the only
way to see truly what’s happening is if you view it from
underneath.
In this shot, the fret hand and strum hand are shown
but the strum hand is seen from inside the guitar looking
out through the soundhole.

 |
Shot 3
Whenever you work on a strum hand technique in detail,
this shot from inside the guitar gives a full view of
exactly what the strum hand plays. This gives a great
shot of the technique in action.
