Since Guitar Coach software was first published in 1997, its video
component has been singled out for particular praise not just because
there’s so much in each product but because it shows you everything
possible to help you learn. In Electric Guitar Coach the video is
even better.

Shot 1
This type of shot shows Fret Hand on the left and Strum
Hand on the right.
Both shots are from your own viewpoint so it’s easy to compare
what you play to how its played in the video. |
 |
Shot 2
Sometimes, if the strum hand is doing something complicated
the only way you can see it is if you look from underneath the
strings.
In this shot, the fret hand and strum hand are shown but the
strum hand is viewed from underneath the strings. |
 |
Shot 3
In lessons where you learn a strum hand technique like here
with the ‘Palm Mute’, only the strum hand is shown.
The shot from underneath the strings is the only way to truly
view this technique in action. |
 |
Shot 4
If a song has a Lead and Rhythm part and you are learning both,
you can view both parts at once.
The controls on the video are ‘Play’, ‘Play and Loop’, ‘Video
Slider’ (to position the video wherever you want) ‘Slow Motion’
and finally ‘Full Screen’. |
